Welcome to the Child Life Center's Site for Anticipatory Guidance
What is Anticipatory Guidance?
Anticipatory Guidance is advice for parents based on your child's age and development. By tailoring our guidance according to your child's age, we are able to properly identify any questions you may have. By using anticipatory guidance physicians and parents come together to promote the health of your child and prevent disease.
On the left is a menu listing the recommended ages for regular "check-ups" at your pediatrician's office. Click on the visit to learn more of what occurs at each visit. Each link also explains the development expected at each age, safety advice, and answers to frequently asked questions from parents.
